My Kind of Town

We had a great time visiting in Chicago. We were downtown the day it snowed (on our way to the Navy Pier Children's Museum of course!) and it was beautiful. Huge flakes of snow covering everything. The water room was once again the favorite - see evidence above. The visit was capped off by the "surprise" Rob's parents had in store for the party - Carriage rides in the snow! (Not nearly as cold as it sounds :-)

The Highlights

My mom made this dress for me. As in, I wore it when I was one. Special? I think so...
Nothing like dinner at Grandma's.

The long awaited blue and green chairs

This blue icing led to many more cute pictures.

Before our ill fated atempt to see the Christmas lights.
Hope your holidays were merry and bright!
