Poor ML. Second child. Summer birthday.
When I called ML's teacher to schedule her "un" birthday party before the end of the school year, I told her it might be ML's first ever school party.
ML didn't request anything fancy (their school doesn't really allow fancy.) Just a cookie cake with her name on it in Auburn colors. (That's my girl! War Eagle! :-)

ML's teacher gave her so many special birthday treats. This was absolutely ML's favorite part. She told me for DAYS ahead of time about the 'birthday bucket'!
